Scribbles for the day

Without any prior art background to support my art career except my humble attempt in monetizing art merchandise for an economy class, I was granted art residency for Young Art Entrepreneur Batch 6 in 2021, with The Creator's will. So I went with my might, to the point of my physical health took a toll as I remember puking whilst making each and every earring meticulously made out of passion and love, hoping it would be treasured as I love making it. But of course, as you sell your heart out of love, in whatever form or shape, when it is exchanged and converted into money, it feels off. There's nothing wrong with it though.

Art has always been a passion and soul-driven career that I dream of having, but I never knew what it looks like other than being an artist and art lover. Slowly but surely, I found out that I'm still a baby in the world of art. I figured I need an art education. A proper one where I go to classes, face-to-face, do assignments and get critics, perspective and ideas. And So, I did. It took me 5th Semester to reach a possible answer of understanding what art is; Long and behold, that is Art. Human connection. Shared ideas. Cohorts. Studio mates. Where shared creativity thrives. "Art is teaching you how to be human" was always said by my art lecturer, Mr Liu.
